
What is the Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP)?
The Canadian Dental Care Plan, known as (CDCP) is an insurance program
launched by the federal government that gives coverage of various oral health
care services for Canadian residents that are elegible.
Who is this type of program for and what does it cover?
The program is especially for uninsured Canadians who do not have access to
emploeyer-sponsored dental benefits.
The CDCP will cover basic dental costs for uninsured Canadians with an adjusted
family net income of $90,000 or less and also help to pay a portion of the cost for
a wide range of oral health care services.

- Basic services
- Major services
- Anesthesia or sedation services
- Orthodontic services
- Applications are now open for:
- Seniors aged 65 and over
- Children under the age of 18
- Adults with a valid federal Disability Tax Credit certificate for 2023
