At The Smile Team Cosmetic and Family Dentistry, we accept refugee patients who are new to Canada and covered under the Canadian government.
If you are a refugee and have appropriate documentation, you can simply call our dental office in Scarborough and book an appointment for an initial examination.
Refugee insurance covers new patient exams, dental X-rays and taking out problem teeth and fillings. It may also cover dentures if you’re missing front teeth.
It does not cover root canal treatment or aesthetic dental work like crowns.
