Why infection control became more important after COVID 19

Posted .

Before COVID 19, dental offices already had infection control rules, but after the pandemic, people started paying way more attention to them. Everyone became more careful about germs and how easily illnesses can spread.

During COVID 19, dental clinics had to follow extra safety steps to protect both patients and staff. Things like masks, hand sanitizer, disinfecting surfaces, and spacing out appointments became even more important.

A lot of patients also started noticing cleanliness more when they came in for appointments. People wanted to feel safe and know that the office was taking proper precautions.

Even though COVID 19 is not as serious now as it was before, infection control is still a big focus in dental clinics. Many of the habits people learned during the pandemic are still used today because they help lower the spread of germs.

At our office, we continue following strong infection control steps to help patients feel safe and comfortable during every visit. You can book with Dr. Abid Hidayat, we’re open Monday to Saturday.
